Peachey Chalet Rental Agreement
Security Deposit/Payment Terms
- A minimum DEPOSIT of 2 nights is required on all reservations.
- A minimum STAY of 3 nights is required on all Cabins and Chalets.
- A minimum STAY of 4 nights for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Holidays.
- Once we receive your deposit, your dates are considered officially reserved.
- Balance must be paid in full at least 14 days prior to your arrival.
- We accept personal checks and money orders as payment.
Rental Agreement
- Upon receiving your security deposit and signed/dated copy of Rental Agreement,
a rental confirmation will be sent to you.
- Once we receive payment in full for your reservation, we will mail you a welcome package that will include travel directions and instructions on how to enter into the chalet.
Cancellation Policy
- A 10% fee of total reservation (excluding tax) applies to all cancellations received 15 days or more prior to your arrival date.
- Cancellations made 14 days or less prior to your arrival date will not receive a refund.
- ALL CANCELLATIONS WILL BE CHARGED AT LEAST A 10% CANCELLATION FEE.
- If you are coming between the months of November to March, we recommend that you come prepared in a 4-wheel drive vehicle or a vehicle with tire chains.
- We cannot provide transportation to your chalet at any time. - NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN DUE TO INCLIMATE WEATHER.
- There will be no credit given for late arrivals, or early departures.
- We do everything necessary to keep all equipment in the chalets in good working order at all times. However, it is impossible to guarantee that all appliances, hot tubs, public utilities, etc. will be in working order at all times.
We do however guarantee to correct reported problems as quickly as possible during regular maintenance hours.(9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) 7 days a week, excluding holidays. Any problems reported after hours will be addressed the next day. No refunds will be granted for maintenance problems.
Check In/Check Out Times
- Check in time is 4:00 p.m. or LATER
- Checkout time is 10:00 a.m. or EARLIER
Hot Tub and/or Jacuzzis
- You are using the hot tub and/or Jacuzzi in your unit at your own risk. We advise you NOT to use these tubs after consuming alcoholic beverages, if you have existing health problems, or if you are pregnant.
- Do Not use foaming agents of any kind. Use of any foaming agent (such as bubble bath etc..) may cause severe damage to the mechanical parts of the tub.
General Housekeeping
- We supply sheets, bath towels and kitchen towels. There are washers and dryers in each unit, so you can wash towels if needed.
- We supply a starter amount of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap,dishwashing detergent, bath soap, and garbage liners. You may want to bring extra.
- All dishes and cookware should be washed, dried and put back in its proper place
- All appliances (oven, stove, coffeemaker etc.) should be turned off.
- Air conditioning should be turned to cool at 75 degrees in summer.
- Furnace should be turned to Heat at 65 degrees in the winter.
- Make sure all lights are turned off
- Make sure the unit is secure when leaving, lock all doors and windows.
- Leave all garbage sealed in plastic bags. If outside cans are full, leave excess sealed in the kitchen area.
- Do not overfill bear proof containers or leave garbage on ground.
- When departing the unit should be in the same order that you found it.
Additional Terms and Conditions
- You must be at least 21 years of age to make this reservation, 25 if you have rented the four or five bedroom.
- Peachey's Gatlinburg Cabin Rentals will not be liable for any loss, theft, personal injury, personal property damage, or other unfortunate incidents that may happen during your travel or stay with us in Gatlinburg.
- No pets allowed. If you do decide to go against our policy and bring a pet, we will charge your credit card $200.00 for additional disinfecting cost.
- Maximum occupancy limits are strictly enforced. If maximum occupancy is exceeded and discovered, you may be required to check out immediately without refund or adjustment.
- If a personal check is returned to us for non-sufficient funds, you will be charged the amount levied by the bank for NSF.
- Any exceptions to the rules as written here must be approved in advance by owner.
- Rates, terms, and conditions are subject to change without notice.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ACCEPTANCE
I HAVE READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS PROVIDED TO ME FOR THE RESERVATION OF A CHALET FROM "PEACHEYS GATLINBURG CABIN RENTALS". I CERTIFY THAT I AM AT LEAST 21 YEARS OF AGE AND THAT I WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CARE OF THIS PROPERTY BEING RENTED IN MY NAME. I ACCEPT FULL RESPONSIBILTY FOR DAMAGES OR EXTRA CLEANING CHARGES, SHOULD THEY BE DISCOVERED DURING OR AFTER DEPARTURE.
